If you are new to Web Design, web pages are usually based on what is called HTML,
(Hyper Text Mark up Language), and this is the language used to create, edit and format
web pages. Even though it is not neccessary to learn HTML due to software that does it
automatically, I recommend you learn it anyway because it provides a good
understanding of how it all works.
Technical information about html can be obtained from the

which provides the standard for the World Wide Web. There are many other sources
that you can obtain info from, including Microsoft and Netscape.
